Anger Management

Anger Management Program

Anger Management is defined as the strategies and techniques individuals can use to control their responses to anger-provoking situations. The Man 2 Man Anger Management Program curriculum is geared specifically toward domestic violence education, prevention and group counseling. There is also a component of spiritual accountability that is incorporated into the classes.   This accountability leads to long-term success for course graduates.

The program is in partnership with Allen Temple Baptist Church in Oakland and is certified by the Alameda County Probation Department.

The class meets on the third Friday of the month at 7:00pm at Allen Temple Baptist Church in Oakland as part of the Man 2 Man – Urban Youth Advocate Mentoring Program.  Although the anger management participants are court-ordered, all others are welcome to attend as well.

In addition to counseling, mentoring and fellowship, dinner is also provided for all participants.
